Microneedling Breakdown
Microneedling is a controlled wound in the skin to rebuild and stimulate functions in the skin that either slowed down or overstimulated.
Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure utilizing micro needles to stamp into the skin creating controlled micro wounds.
The micro wounds created stimulates the wound healing cascade, releasing growth factors and activating fibroblasts responsible for collagen and elastin.
Microneedling
Microneedling facial is one hour in duration.
During the time Master Estheticians will cleanse the skin twice, apply 5% topical numbing cream for average 20 minutes, removed and prepare the skin for microneedling.
Treatment will be performed on the face, around the eyes, neck, and if allowed near the collarbones.
Microneedling Experience
Microneedling experience facial is hour and a half in duration.
During the time Master Estheticians will cleanse the skin twice followed by either a treatment mask or gentle exfoliation to pair in a standard facial.
Application of 5% topical numbing cream for average 20 minutes, could be topped with LED. Numbing is removed and skin is prepared for microneedling.
The device at Amy's Aesthetics is a FDA- cleared professional medical grade device. Serum used during the microneedling as a slip it single use vials of sterile saline.
The reason for sterile saline as a glide for microneedling is that is it extremely safe to use on open wounds. There will be near to zero chance of granulomas or adverse reactions on the skin.
